Alongside the standard solutions from Secon, our range now also includes reversible Climaveneta units from Mitsubishi Electric. Developed and manufactured in Europe, they use the environmentally friendly natural refrigerant propane (R-290). Safe and efficient to operate, these units feature scroll compressors, separate cooling circuits for each compressor and fans with diffusers to reduce noise levels. CTA master control allows up to 16 units to be cascaded.

From January 2026, our product range will include additional heat pumps that use the natural refrigerant R-290 propane – developed to meet the energy needs of the future. Designed for both new-builds and replacement heating systems, our new inverter-controlled heat pumps combine maximum efficiency with low operating costs.

As a Swiss manufacturer of high-quality heat pumps and chillers, we place sustainability at the heart of everything we do – in both ecological and social terms. That’s why, this year, we’re using our Christmas donation to support the Aeschbacherhuus foundation in Münsingen.

We have now introduced internally mounted standard chillers and industrial heat pumps with an output range of between 30 and 250 kW to our range. Developed and manufactured in Europe, they operate using the environmentally friendly natural refrigerant CO₂ (R-744). They are both safe and efficient to operate and can generate hot water temperatures of up to 90°C. Simultaneous heating and cooling, heat recovery and connection to external, air-cooled gas coolers is possible.

On 1 March 2025, Peter Waldburger will become the new Head of Residential Heat Pumps Division and a member of the executive management at CTA AG. With his many years’ experience and his sound market knowledge, he will help promote CTA as the leading Swiss heat pump manufacturer over the long term.
